Detailed description

Case material: carbon

Carbon gives not only sporting and dynamic touch, but also creates long lasting and extremely durable strap with significantly increased lifespan.

Case material: stainless steel

Stainless steel 316L (Stainless Steel) is a very durable material that theoretically can not be destroyed. It is hard (non-bendable and non-crackable), color stable, antiallergic (does not react with body fluids and therefore no metal components are not released into the skin and flesh) and has anticorrosive surface (the surface is resistant to oxidation and corrosion. Moreover, it is also resistant to fresh and salt water).

Movement: solar power (Tough solar)

Tough Solar is a power technology of Casio watches. The solar cells, which are under the crystal, convert light energy into electrical energy, which is stored in the battery and powers the watch. This eliminates the need for battery replacement!

Strap material: plastic

Mostly of rubber, resins or silicone. This type of material has high flexibility, is hypoallergenic, water resistant, and does not absorb sweat.

24-hour dial

Subdial shows the time in 24-hour format. For example, the main dial shows 3 hours, which equals 15 on a subdial.

Timer - 1/1 minutes - 24 hours

Measuring range 1 minute. Example: countdown set for eight hours. The watch signals the end of the elapsed time and starts following 8 hour interval. Automatic repetition can be enabled or disabled.

Date - the day of the month

Displays the current day of the month period from 1 to 31 December.

Date - the day of the week

Displays the current day of the week. Abbreviations days are in English (in rare cases a day of the week can be in German or in another language).

Daily alarm

The alarm is repeated every day at the specified time.

Phone Finder

You lost your phone? By simply pressing a button on the watch, the phone alarm starts to ring and you can easily find it.

Battery level indicator

This feature is mostly found in solar-powered watches. It shows the battery charge status. If the indicator indicates a low level, just expose the watch to light and battery will recharge.

LED light

Illumination of the watch is provided by a diode (LED). Light is switched on by a touch of a button.

Limited edition

Limited Edition is a special production lot of watches of limited quantity distributed all over the world. Each piece is unique, usually by having an embossed numerical designation - serial number. Most are also available with a special limited packaging.

Neo-display

An illumination layer on hands which, after a short recharge, ensures illumination in the dark.

Centrifugal gravity resistance

Centrifugal gravity resistant watches are able to handle a 15 G overload over a long period of time, which is the maximum level cockpit devices mounted in aircraft dashboards are tested for according to ISO 2669. Seamless operation of the chronograph and other functions is guaranteed even under these conditions.

Shock resistance

A unique design that eliminates the adverse effects of mechanical impact, vibration and shock, thus ensuring a high mechanical resistance of watches.

Vibration resistance

Vibration resistant watches are subjected to a 10-hour test under laboratory conditions, during which vibrations of up to 20 mm, a frequency of 1000 Hz and a 20 G acceleration act upon them. The watches are also certified against vibration of two-wheeled motor vehicles according to the Japanese industry standard JIS D1601.

Full auto-calendar

The display shows the current date. It is pre-programmed, so there is no need to set short and long month and leap years. Most watches have this pre-programmed date until 2099th.

Smartwatch

The watch can be paired via Bluetooth with devices running on Android and iOS.

Stopwatch

Stopwatch enables to measure time intervals.

World time

Display simply shows the times in selected major cities and areas of the world.

Radio signal reception (EU, USA, Japan, China)

The watch Receives signals from atomic clocks, usually once every 24 hours. Deviation of atomic clocks is only one second in three million years. Therefore, watches equipped with this technology to receive radio signals are extremely accurate. Their owners can be assured that their time and date is always exact. This watch is receiving a signal from the transmitter, which are located in Europe (United Kingdom - Anthorn, Germany - Mainflingen), USA (Fort Collins, Colorado), Japan (Fukushima and Kyushu) and China (Shangqiu). In the event that you find yourself in an area that is not covered by the signal, your watch still maintains very high accuracy, and after returning to the coverage your time is again automatically adopted.

Water resistance: 200M/20ATM

Watches marked with water tightness 200M/20ATM are designed for swimming, snorkeling, and for diving with breathing apparatus. 200M/20ATM indicates the degree of water resistance standardized by ISO 6425. ISO tests include temperature changes, depth, pressure (water and air) for different times under rest and during manipulation with  the operative part of the watch. The dive models, subsequently performs the test of resistance to salt water and  the ability to cope with the watch positive pressure (decompression simulation).

Crystal: sapphire

Sapphire glass in the watch was made in a laboratory by melting aluminium oxide (Al2O3) in the presence of hydrogen and oxygen at 2000 °C. After crystallisation into the corundum 'pear', it's cut and further processed into the desired shape and size. Sapphire glass is the hardest glass used in watches. It would be second behind diamond on the scale of mineral hardness, so it can only scratched by diamond. Its only disadvantage is its fragility.

Closure type: pin buckle

The most widely used method of fastening, which is mainly used in leather and silicone straps. Simply turn on the buckle into the required holes as needed.

How to Apply for a Customs Refund on Returned Goods

Here’s an overview of what you need to do, along with links to key forms and instructions from HMRC.

General Steps for Returning Goods and Requesting a Customs Duty Refund

      1. Confirm Return Eligibility
Goods are eligible if they were originally declared to customs but are now being returned without having been used, sold, or altered in the UK. They must also comply with contract terms and quality expectations (such as undamaged or non-defective).

      2. Submit HMRC Forms
Form C285: This is the primary form for requesting a refund of import duties or VAT on rejected or unused goods. HMRC specifies that this form must be filed within three years of the import date. More information and the form you can find on the [HMRC C285 guide page].
Form C&E1179: For goods found to be defective, not compliant, or returned by the buyer, Form C&E1179 is required. It should be submitted at least 48 hours before the goods are shipped back. Instructions are detailed on the [HMRC website for C&E1179].

      3. VAT Adjustment (if applicable)
If VAT was applied to the initial import, you might need to adjust your VAT return. Details for handling VAT adjustments and refunds for returned goods can be found in HMRC’s [VAT and overseas goods guide].

      4. Prepare for Inspection
If HMRC requests, you should be ready to provide evidence of the goods’ condition, reasons for return, and any applicable sales or import documents.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How the Delivery Process Works

  1. Order Dispatch
Once we receive your order, we ship it from the EU to the UK via DHL.

  2. Contact from DHL
After dispatch, DHL will contact you - usually while your order is still in transit. DHL will always ask the recipient (unless otherwise agreed) to confirm the accuracy of the invoice and provide a description of the goods. This step is necessary for smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.

  3. Customs Clearance
DHL handles all customs formalities when your order arrives in the United Kingdom.

  4. VAT and Duty Payment
For products sold by IRISIMO (such as watches, jewelry, sunglasses, and accessories), a 20% VAT is required upon import into the UK. No customs duty is applied to these products, as they have a 0% duty rate. Please note that these VAT and duty conditions are subject to change based on legislation.

  5. Delivery
Once the VAT is paid, DHL will deliver your order directly to your door.

Thank you for shopping with IRISIMO!

What is VAT?

Value-Added Tax (VAT) is a consumption TAX imposed across all countries within the European Union (EU). VAT regulations differ depending on whether goods or services are being sold within or outside the EU. These rules apply to both offline and online retailers, including IRISIMO, an e-shop owned by IRISIMO s. r. o., a company established with its registered office in Slovakia.

VAT-Free Shopping (0% Rate) for Deliveries to the UK

  • When delivering goods from the EU, specifically from Slovakia, to destinations outside the European Union like the United Kingdom (UK), the place of delivery determines whether VAT will be applied. In such cases, VAT is not charged, meaning UK customers benefit from tax-free shopping.
  • Product prices on our website are already displayed including 0% VAT for customers outside the EU. The final price shown in the shopping cart will also be including 0% VAT. For the order to qualify for tax-free shopping, the delivery address must be in the territory of the UK. This delivery address is entered by the customer during the purchase process.
  • If the delivery address provided is not in the UK, the order will not be processed, and the customer will be contacted to confirm or update their delivery details.

Import Duties and Local Taxes

  • For orders shipped from the EU to the UK, import duties and local taxes may be applied when the package arrives in the destination country. These additional charges are the responsibility of the customer and may vary depending on the UK’s customs policies.
  • To ensure a smooth customs clearance process, IRISIMO will provide all necessary documentation, such as invoices, customs export declarations, shipping documents, and tracking information. Since customs regulations can differ widely, customers are encouraged to contact their local customs office in the UK for precise information regarding any additional charges.
