The Cover brand history dates back to 1982, when Theo Ingold founded the Chrono AG independent watch company in Solothurn, Switzerland. His goal was to produce Swiss Made watches that would be more than just simple tools for measuring time. When in 1999 company management decided to create a brand that would best represent their values, the choice fell on Cover, an easy-to-remember name. At present, the Cover brand is managed by the second generation of the Ingold family, and attributes have been added to the original watch design principles, with an emphasis on materials and a perfect harmony of form and functionality. The passion for precise production is visible in every single men's and women's model. Whether elegant or sports watches, you can always be sure that they are adjusted and packed exclusively by hand directly at the company's historic headquarters at Weissensteinstrasse 49. The Cover watch offer currently consists of two model lines - Trend and Classic. While the Trend series features more modern women's pieces, whose Swiss Ronda and ETA machines are battery-powered, the more elegantly designed Classic collection is richer not only in power supply options, but also in the number and available functions, worth mentioning the chronograph or lunar phase indicator. The creation of the Cover brand is clearly dominated by steel-case watches, which in the case of women's models are often tastefully set with cut stones. In the case of mechanical watches, the designers like to make the flywheel stand out through the hole in the dial, whose dynamics and regular movement increase their attractiveness even more. From the materials used in the Cover models, you can rely on the qualities of K1 mineral glass with a sapphire layer, or durable sapphire crystal, and for lovers of luxury, watches with diamond indices and real pearl dials are also available.
