Iron Annie is a relatively young, but even more ambitious brand, this brand was launched thanks to the German watch company POINTtec. When choosing the brand name and philosophy, this family company with extensive experience in the production of Zeppelin and Bauhaus watches was inspired by the legendary Junkers JU-52 D-AQUI aircraft from the 1930s. Like the iconic military bomber, the Iron Annie models are characterised by their robustness, German reliability and technical innovation. The individual collections of watches capture a sophisticated, original look, where there is quite often a design reference to corrugated iron, which was a typical distinguishing feature of the JU52. They are also characterised due to their excellent price-performance ratio. Automatic and hand-drawn mechanical calipers are available to meet customers' demanding requirements, and there are also popular quartz movements with functions such as date, small seconds, lunar phases and a sports chronograph. With regard to materials, they built the Iron Annie watch based on a classics. Stainless steel is absolutely dominant in their construction, and this is suitably complemented with the mineral slides and genuine leather on the straps in several processes. All Iron Annie models are made in Germany by professional watchmakers, which entitles them to proudly bear the Made in Germany label.
