Are you looking for a watch for your deep underwater adventures? In this category you'll find exactly what you need. Diving watches are structurally designed with regard to high resistance to water penetration into the bowels of the case. Diver watches are considered to be models whose degree of water resistance is greater than or equal to 200M or 20 ATM/20 bar, and simultaneously meet the ISO 6425 criteria, which defines the test conditions and properties of watches suitable for diving with breathing apparatus. To some extent, the purpose of a diving watch is to replace a personal diving computer and to firstly provide the person below the surface with information regarding the exact time. This is crucial for the diver especially when ascending from greater depths, as in these cases it's necessary to observe decompression stops, the reasons for which are a reduction of subclinical decompression sickness, reduction of microbubble content, control of ascent and orientation before emergence. The defining feature of a diving watch is a one-way rotating circuit with a minute scale. This allows the diver to find out how much time they have spent below the surface and how long they should spend on the decompression stop. All you have to do is set the circle so that the minute hand points to zero at that moment. The elapsed time is then easily read on the minute scale marked on the circle. Due to the fact that diving models are destined to be worn in both fresh and salt water, the designers had to adapt the materials from which they are manufactured. The most commonly used material is 316L stainless steel, titanium and bronze is also very popular. The condition for a diving (or also "diver") watch is a brilliantly readable dial in all circumstances with significantly increased indices and the presence of a large portion of the phosphor. The so-called diving extension is also the manufacturers good habitis, this is a mechanism that allows the strap to be extended by a few centimeters due to the use of the watch on thick neoprene. The special function on diving models is the integration of a useful depth gauge in digital or mechanical form.
