Detailed description

Case material: DLC coating

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon), or otherwise quasi-diamond carbon layer, is a thin coating with diamond-like properties. DLC microcrystals are characterised by high hardness of the tenth degree of the Mohs scale, chemical inertness, high elasticity and low coefficient friction. Watches treated with a DLC layer have a grey to black colour, mostly a matt surface and excellent scratch resistance.

Case material: titanium

Titanium does not contain additives such as nickel and lead and therefore is mostly suitable for allergy sufferers. Causes no adverse reaction with the skin. It is hard, color stable and very lightweight.

Movement: solar power (ECO DRIVE)

Eco-Drive is a power technology of Citizen watches. The solar cells, which are under the crystal, convert light energy into electrical energy, which is stored in the battery and powers the watch. This eliminates the need for battery replacement!

24-hour dial

Subdial shows the time in 24-hour format. For example, the main dial shows 3 hours, which equals 15 on a subdial.

ISO tests include temperature changes, depth, pressure (water and air) for different times under the rest and during manipulation with the operative part of the watch.

Crystal: sapphire

Sapphire glass in the watch was made in a laboratory by melting aluminium oxide (Al2O3) in the presence of hydrogen and oxygen at 2000 °C. After crystallisation into the corundum 'pear', it's cut and further processed into the desired shape and size. Sapphire glass is the hardest glass used in watches. It would be second behind diamond on the scale of mineral hardness, so it can only scratched by diamond. Its only disadvantage is its fragility.

Closure type: Folding clasp

A Folding clasp is the most widespread method of fastening watch straps and wristbands. It's a simple and reliable fastening method. If it accidentally unfastens, it won't unfasten completely, and the watch will remain on your wrist.
